Democracy Matters – Feedback from your local community

On 3 February we hosted a Community Conversation to respond to the Democracy Matters – Phase Two consultation by the Scottish Government.
This was a collaborative initiative with Shawlands & Strathbungo Community Council. The event was held at Queen's Park Govanhill Parish Church and the 28 participants engaged in rich and lively discussions around several themes and questions.

This has been submitted to the Scottish Government for consideration as they take forward plans for giving greater powers to local communities.
